Dates: May 27 (Wed.) - 29 (Fri.), 2026
Venue: South Halls 1 & 2 ,Tokyo Big Sight, Japan
This is an official SPEXA special project organised in collaboration with JAXA. It is designed to introduce exhibitors at SPEXA who are also selected under the Space Strategic Fund (SSF), ensuring the most efficient networking experience for visitors.
Inside the venue, we offer a diverse program to connect businesses considering collaboration, investment, or implementation with these SSF-selected organizations:
- Panel Exhibition: Detailed introductions of the implementing organizations.
- Stamp Rally: An interactive networking activity across the floor.
- Pitch Stage: 5-minute "Short Pitches" introducing each company’s core technologies and projects.
Don't miss this rare opportunity to meet the key players driving the future of the space industry!
What is the Space Strategic Fund(SSF) ?
Redefining the next decade through technology, ideas, and ambition.
To discover "hidden gems" in the industry, Japan has established a new fund totaling approximately 1 trillion yen.
Acting as a funding agency, JAXA supports three key areas—Transportation, Satellites, and Exploration
—with the goals of expanding the space market, solving social issues, and pioneering new frontiers.

Message to Visitors:
Satoru Naiki, Director, Space Strategic Fund Department, JAXA
"JAXA has been managing the Space Strategic Fund since 2024, aiming to provide 1 trillion yen in support over 10 years. To date, we have selected over 150 organizations. To expand the space industry ecosystem, it is vital that these technical achievements are known globally and gain diverse perspectives for collaboration. We are pleased to partner with SPEXA, a platform for open encounters and optimal matching. We look forward to seeing new synergies born between our project organizations and all visitors through initiatives like the Stamp Rally."

Updated Regularly Introducing part of our exhibitors!
NEC has been involved in satellite development and manufacturing for over half a century, consistently taking on new challenges alongside the evolution of Japan's space development. From development to utilization—NEC is striving to create new value that enriches society through space utilization. Connecting the present to the future, NEC’s challenge toward the heavens continues. Why not join us in this challenge?
Japan's space development has entered a new phase. In recent years, private sector entry has accelerated, shifting the era toward a demand for speed and efficiency. In this environment, INDUSTRIAL-X was selected as an implementing organization to solve technical development challenges for JAXA’s Space Strategic Fund. Anticipating an era where existing industrial structures themselves shift toward the space industry, we support the creation and growth of space businesses with solutions for both space and non-space companies.
In 1987, Shimizu Corporation became the first in the Japanese construction industry to venture into the space sector. Today, our activities span a wide range—from rocket launches and satellite data applications to lunar development and utilization—all driven by our mission: "Today's Work, Tomorrow's Heritage."
iQPS is displaying a 1/6 scale model of the small SAR satellite "QPS-SAR," which is developed, manufactured, and operated by QPS Institute, alongside high-definition SAR images actually acquired from space. In addition to data utilization examples for infrastructure management and disaster response, we will introduce the outlook for our "quasi-real-time observation network," which will be realized in 2030 with a constellation of 36 satellites. Please come to our booth to see the new possibilities of space business through small SAR satellites.
As a member of the Toray Group, a global leader in the carbon fiber market, Toray Carbon Magic combines extensive design and manufacturing expertise with Toray's material and quality technologies to meet customer needs—from the development to the final production of CFRP structures and components. For space applications, we utilize the lightweight, high-rigidity, and dimensional stability of CFRP to propose innovative solutions ideal for missions in extreme environments. Please feel free to consult us on anything from the conceptual stage to mass-production design.
This exhibit introduces the technologies and facilities owned by NAOJ and the technical support provided to companies entering space development. We will showcase technologies applicable to space businesses, such as "Adaptive Optics," "Infrared Detectors," and "Radio Reception Technology," as well as the design/processing technologies and facilities (clean rooms, vacuum chambers, etc.) that support them, using posters and actual equipment/scale models. Please come and experience NAOJ's technology at the venue!
Our strength lies in our "vertically integrated" business model, providing everything from satellite development to data analysis and utilization. Through a satellite observation system capable of high-frequency and high-precision imaging, we provide digital maps that realistically represent the current status, enabling the visualization and utilization of 3D Earth observation (4D including the time axis). In addition to confirming current conditions, we enable the grasping of changes, urban analysis, simulation, and future forecasting for rapid and accurate decision-making. We aim to create a new digital twin market.
MSW enables the mass production of rockets using "hybrid rocket engine" and "weldless tank" technologies. To achieve this ideal, we have developed a rocket engine that outperforms others in three elements: "Safety," "Simplicity," and "Cost."
ElevationSpace Inc. is a space startup originating from Tohoku University that aims to create a world where anyone can live in space and to enrich humanity’s future. Leveraging the knowledge and technologies gained from the development of more than 15 small satellites at the Yoshida–Kuwahara Laboratory of Tohoku University, the company is developing “ELS-R,” a space environment utilization platform. ELS-R enables experiments and demonstrations that take advantage of the microgravity environment to be conducted on unmanned small satellites, which are then returned to Earth and delivered back to customers.
We present a comprehensive analytics platform that integrates satellite imagery, ocean simulation, and big data to estimate fishing activities of vessels and predict maritime crimes. The platform also showcases decision-support capabilities based on 40 years of meteorological and oceanographic data analysis, as well as technologies for predicting the drift of ocean debris. Experience the cutting edge of ocean forecasting powered by space data at our booth.
Symphonia Technology will exhibit actuators and controllers adopted for the H3 Launch Vehicle and the Epsilon Rocket. In the space sector, where exceptionally high quality and reliability are required, the company contributes through electrical systems such as flight control equipment and thrust vector control systems.
In July 2022, SKY Perfect JSAT, which has been engaged in space business for more than 30 years, and NTT, which possesses innovative technologies such as IOWN, established Space Compass to realize the Space Integrated Computing and Network concept. We will introduce our initiatives toward building new infrastructure. Please be sure to stop by.
